Day 1 : Arrival at Srinagar
After your arrival at Srinagar Airport, tour representative who will help you with an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel and with this your Kashmir trip starts. After completing the check-in formalities, enjoy their heartwarming welcome. You can spend the rest of the day leisurely pursuing the activities of your interest. Some of the activities which you can try out are shopping in the local market, visiting the nearby areas and trying out the local cuisines.

Day 2 : Sightseeing in Srinagar
Enjoy your delicious breakfast and get ready to explore the various attractions in Srinagar. Your Kashmir itinerary of the day consists of the Mughal Gardens. The Mughal Gardens is a group of gardens built in the Persian style of architecture. You will also visit Chashmi-e Shahi which is also known as the Royal Spring Garden. The spellbinding beauty of the garden attracts numerous tourists. This garden is situated on an elevated plane and due to which it offers a majestic view of the city. The Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh are the other popular tourist destinations which you will visit. Nishat Bagh means 'Garden of Joy' which is situated nearby the Dal Lake and it is one of the largest gardens in the valley after Shalimar Bagh. The layout of the garden is based on the Persian style. It has 12 terraces which consist fountains with pools along with the canal. Shalimar Bagh is popularly called as the 'Crown of Srinagar'. The garden is linked with the open Dal Lake through a canal. This captivates the visitors with spellbinding beauty. Afterward, head towards the Dal Lake to enjoy a ride on the Shikara. It is the second-largest lake in the valley and also known as 'Lake of Flowers', 'Jewel in the crown of Kashmir'. The picturesque view of the lake during the sunset will leave you awe-struck.

Day 3 : Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar
On this day of the Kashmir tour, you will enjoy a day trip to Sonamarg, also known as the "Gateway to Ladakh". The ride from Srinagar to Sonamarg is dotted with magnificent sights. After reaching Sonamarg, you can spend the rest of the day leisurely. Another experience to look forward to is the pony ride up to Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost). This place is famous for being covered with snow throughout the year. Sonamarg means 'meadow of gold'. It is situated at an altitude of 2,800 meters above sea level. It is a gateway to several breathtaking lakes which include Vishansar Lake, Krishnasar Lake, Gangabal, and Gadsar Lake. Offering a spectacular view, this place is a paradise for trekkers and travel enthusiasts. Thajiwas Glacier remains covered with snow throughout the year and alpine meadows are scattered all around the glacier. The numerous waterfalls, grasslands, and peaceful environment make it a perfect getaway to escape the scorching heat and the hustle-bustle of city life. Head back to Srinagar and have a sumptuous dinner.

Day 4 : Srinagar – Gulmarg
On this day of the tour, make your way towards Gulmarg for a day of sightseeing and exploration. The drive to Gulmarg takes you past lovely sights of the valley. Gulmarg, the summer resort of the valley, is one of the best places for enjoying skiing. The place is also home to the highest golf course in the world. After arriving at Gulmarg, complete your check-in formalities and enjoy the delicious dishes at lunch. After enjoying your lunch, you can either choose to take a pony ride or go for a Gulmarg Gondola cable car ride up to Khilanmarg (at your own cost). Khilanmarg is situated 6 km away from Gulmarg. This place is surrounded by the tallest mountains and view from here is so majestic. Nanga Parbat Peak and Nun Kun Peaks are visible from Khilanmarg. This place is a perfect blend of natural beauty and adventure. This is followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 5 : Gulmarg - Pahalgam
Enjoy your breakfast and then get transferred to Pahalgam by road. Complete your check-in formalities at the hotel upon arrival. Pahalgam is also the base of the much famed Amarnath Yatra and renowned for its spectacular beauty. You have the rest of the day to yourself and can spend it any way you like. You can choose to go shopping in the local market, take a leisurely walk or enjoy a pony ride. The pristine land of Pahalgam is surrounded by lush greenery, farms of saffron and alluring mountain ranges, This is followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 6 : Day at Leisure in Pahalgam
Enjoy your breakfast and then spend the day at leisure. You can spend it doing anything that sparks your interest. If adventure is what you love, then go river rafting on the Lidder River. You could also try horse riding and enjoy sightseeing. Along with this, visit the nearby attractions including Betaab Valley and Aru Valley amongst others. Betaab Valley is situated at a distance of 15 km from the Pahalgam. It is surrounded by lush green forests and snow-clad mountains. Lidder River flowing through the valley makes it much more beautiful. Camping in the valley can be one of the best experiences. Aru Valley is a famous place for skiing and heli-skiing. It also acts as a base camp for Tarsar-Marsar Lake trek and Kolahoi Glacier trek. This place is popular among tourists for its serene and peaceful environment. This is followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Pahalgam.

Day 7 : Pahalgam - Katra
After enjoying your breakfast, make your way towards Katra. A drive of around 7 hours will take you through beautiful valleys and majestic views. After arriving at Katra, which is also the base of Vaishno Devi Yatra, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel. You have the rest of the evening to yourself and can spend it any way you like. You can stroll around the local market and buy something for your loved ones. The spiritual aura of this place is something which can only be felt and you will admire the place. This is followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Katra.

Day 8 : Katra (Vaishno Devi Darshan)
Enjoy your delicious breakfast and then brace yourself for the 13 km trek to Vaishno Devi cave temple. The temple is situated at the Trikuta Mountain. Pony, palanquins and helicopter services are available there to take you to the top. You can opt for any of it to undertake the arduous trek. The trek will cover four main points, which are namely Banganga, Adhkuwari, Sanjhi Chatt and finally The Bhawan. After entering the cave temple, bow down in front of Maa Vaishno Devi residing in the form of 3 idols (known as pindis locally) – Maa Laxmi, Maa Saraswati and Maa Kali. After worshiping, begin your journey back to the hotel.

Day 9 : Katra - Depart for Jammu
After enjoying your breakfast, get transferred to Jammu Airport or railway station by road for your onward journey. If you have some time in Jammu, then you can explore the city also. Hari Niwas Palace was the home of the king of the Jammu. Amar Mahal Palace can also be explored. The paintings and artifacts here depict the historical events of Jammu & Kashmir. Raghunath Bazar situated nearby the famous Raghunath Mandir is another place where you can visit. The bazaar is one of the best places for shopaholics.
